The Restoration and Reconstruction Company (R&R) aims to provide service to the country in the field of restoration which is found to be severely lacking. It aims to develop and contribute to the body of knowledge where the influences of the weather and the environment on the building structures in the region are concerned. It aims to help strengthen the cultural foundation by sharing expert knowledge on the history of the country and the Gulf Region.

The company is founded by Mr. Abdullah Al-Hamad, a known Qatari designer who was educated and has worked in the United States of America. He returned to Qatar in 1995 to establish his architecture and interior design business. Mr. Al-Hamad believes in utilizing engineering methodologies that can achieve suitable qualities with cost control. He also believes that for each area of knowledge, an expert exists who can impart his knowledge and expertise for the betterment of the country and growth of the region.
